Eco Removal Systems Machines

Streets, block paving and other surfaces are often spoilt by discarded chewing gum and stains that’s very difficult to remove. Not only does this create an eyesore, especially as the gum darkens with dirt, but it can also stick to footwear and clothing, proving a menace for visitors and the general public.

That’s why we designed the Ecogum range of machines manufactured right here in the UK. An ecological solution to a worldwide problem, there’s no better way to remove chewing gum and sticky labels quickly and effectively.

Clean block pavings in record time

By combining our specialist technology and the expertise of our dedicated engineers, our machines for cleaning block paving guarantee the removal of any materials and substances that have become attached.

Specifically designed so that there’s no need for high-pressure hoses whilst eliminating unwanted spray into surrounding areas, Ecogum has a continuous operating cycle of 4-8 hours depending on the chosen unit. What’s more, it uses only eco-friendly detergents, meaning that the entire process is kind to the planet and has no negative effects on the environment.

How does our portable block paving cleaning machine work?

The Ecogum range has been designed around simplicity and effectiveness in equal measure. The operative wears a comfortable, ergonomic and self-contained backpack that allows total freedom of movement and ease of use.

The machine is powered by a lithium battery, pumping the eco-friendly detergent into a boiler/heater for heating. Once it has reached optimal temperature, the detergent is then shot out of the attached lance at approximately 95-100 degrees, quickly vaporising the gum or stain with minimal effort.

Use on a range of materials

Our state-of-the-art block paving cleaning machines work wonders on concrete and block paving, but that’s not where its application ends. You can use the Ecogum range to clean wooden floors, natural stone and even entrance mats, achieving a clean environment inside and out.

The 2026 Guide: What is the Most Effective Way to Remove Chewing Gum from Large-Scale block paving?

The Science of Clean: Why Substrate Protection is the New Standard in Gum Removal

If you are responsible for maintaining pristine block paving or high-traffic urban footways, you know that chewing gum isn’t just a litter problem, it’s a molecular one. For decades, the industry standard relied on "brute force" methods: high-pressure jetting that often blasted away the jointing sand and damaged the very stone it was meant to clean.

Today, the professional landscape has evolved. B2B decision-makers are no longer settling for methods that sacrifice the integrity of the substrate for the sake of cleanliness. The shift toward specialized, pH-neutral technology represents a move toward smarter asset management and genuine environmental stewardship.

    In this guide:

Targeting the Bond: How 95°C pH-neutral solutions dissolve gum without eroding block paving.
The Substrate Shift: Why protecting the "base" is more cost-effective than high-pressure alternatives.
Sustainability in Action: How reducing water waste and chemical runoff aligns with modern ESG goals.
The Expert Choice: Why industry leaders are transitioning to dedicated, eco-friendly removal hardware.

5 Critical Mistakes Shopping Centres Make with Chewing Gum Removal (And How to Fix Them)

Preserving the Retail Experience: A Smarter Approach to Gum & Adhesive Removal

In the competitive world of retail, first impressions are everything. For shopping centre managers, the battle against unsightly chewing gum and stubborn sticker residue is constant. However, the true danger lies in the removal process itself: many traditional methods inadvertently damage expensive terrazzo, marble, and block paving, turning a cleaning task into a costly asset replacement.

Modern facility management requires a shift from reactive "deep cleans" to proactive, surface-safe maintenance. To maintain high "dwell time" and a premium brand image, centres must move away from disruptive pressure washers and harsh chemicals in favour of discreet, pH-neutral technology that protects the integrity of the building’s architecture.

    In this guide:

The Pressure Trap: Why high-pressure blasters are a liability in retail atriums.
Shadow Removal: The science of emulsifying oils to eliminate "ghost stains" for good.
Asset Protection: How to clean block paving and stone without scratching or stripping sealants.
Proactive vs. Reactive: Using portable, battery-powered tech to stop the "Broken Window Theory."
Beyond the Floor: Professional techniques for removing sticker residue from glass and pillars.
